INDATA in Washington, DC!

INDATA was recently asked to present to the National Assistive Technology Technical Assistance Partnership (NATTAP) Conference April 28-30 about our social media efforts.

Wade Wingler, Director of Assistive Technology, and Sara Croft, Education and Outreach Coordinator, spoke about what INDATA is doing in social media – blogging, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube.  The Pass it On Center in Georgia also spoke about their social media presence.

Several people in the audience were curious to know about how accessible Facebook is – to promote accessibility for Facebook, visit the group one of our colleagues in assistive technology created and join.

While a conference can seem like all work and no play, we did make time to visit a few of the historical landmarks in Washington, DC (see picture).
