A Poker Run with lots of fun, food, prizes, raffles, 50/50, games & events, and music. Poker run ends at Easter Seals Crossroads – 4740 Kingsway Drive – Indianapolis, IN 46205

Registration at Southside Harley-Davidson at 4930 Southport Crossing Place from 9:30 to 11 am – $20 per bike, $10 per passenger

Last bike out at 11:00 am. Poker Run drawing at 2:00 at Easter Seals Crossroads.
100% of funds raised go to Easter Seals Crossroads to provide much needed services to area children and adults with disabilities and special needs.

What: A one day conference over mental health and aging, overcoming barriers and seizing opportunities.

When: Friday, September 17, 2010

Where: South Auditorium, Indiana Government Center

The Indiana Mental Health and Aging Coalition and other partners are hosting a one-day conference on Mental Health and Aging. Topics include the following:
• Healthcare reform
• Adult suicide
• The system intersection of mental health and aging
• Transition to retirement
• Coalition building

The Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities is preparing Indiana’s State Disability Plan for 2012-2016. The completed plan will be used to guide the work of the Council, including its training and dissemination activities, the events it sponsors, and the projects it funds.

Participate in the process- the council is hosting town meetings in eight area locations in the state.  The purpose of the meetings is to gather ideas from persons with disabilities and family members about the priorities that should be addressed in the upcoming State Disability Plan.

The first of these Town Meetings will be held for Indianapolis and the surrounding areas:

The Council asks that people with disabilities and family members sign up and register for this Town Meeting by going to this website: www.cwlab.org

  • 10/18   Evansville
  • 10/25   Merrillville
  • 10/26   South Bend

UNO will donate up to 20% of your check to help benefit Easter Seals Crossroads.  Funds raised go to Easter Seals Crossroads to provide much needed services to area children and adults with disabilities and special needs.
